Senior Management Accountant

ICAEW Finance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in providing financial information and commercial insight to support the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation of month-end reporting packs, profitability reports, and ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
  • Financial Planning: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for specific cost centers, including gaining a deep understanding of divisional staff costs, associated costs of sales, and overheads.
  • Financial Analysis and Decision Support: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to provide insights into business performance, trends, and variances against budgets and forecasts.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to continuously review and enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
  • High level of academic achievement/qualification
  • Prior experience of finance business partnering desirable
  • Monthly reporting experience essential
  • Experience of working in a commercial environment
  • Numerate, articulate, and logical
  • Collaborative and customer service focused
  • Attention to detail and ability to provide accurate figures while working to tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated
  • Keen to work in the ICAEW and understand the business areas
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word
