Academics Ltd is a specialist school that provides comprehensive support to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. We are seeking a Child Mental Health Care Worker to join our team and help us deliver high-quality care and education to our students.

In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualised support plans for students. Your duties will include assessing student needs, developing strategies to promote positive behaviour, and collaborating with families to ensure student success.

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic professional who has experience working with children with complex needs. Relevant qualifications and training in areas such as Child and Adolescent Mental Health would be advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and develop individualised support plans
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure student success
  • Provide emotional support to students and families
