The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Logistics Delivery Team as a Trainee Logistics Planner. Based at our Regional Customer Centre in Holytown, this role offers a unique chance to develop a career and not just a job, working closely with experienced planners to support the organization and coordination of deliveries across the Central Belt of Scotland.

Your journey with us will begin with comprehensive training and development, focusing on your ability to learn and grow, rather than relying on past experience. As you progress, you will be responsible for scheduling deliveries, managing vehicle breakdowns, and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and external hauliers. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to changing circumstances will be essential in ensuring seamless delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule deliveries across the Central Belt of Scotland
  • Manage vehicle breakdowns and schedule changes
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external hauliers

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus bonus, 25 days holiday + local bank holidays (with options to increase), and other benefits that recognize the value you bring to our team.
