About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Service Line Manager to join our team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective provision of clinical services in dermatology and neurology.

About the Role:

  • Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Location: Harlow, Essex
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Hours: 37 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To support the Divisional General Manager and the Divisional Management Team in ensuring the achievement of performance and other local and national clinical and non-clinical targets
  2. To provide operational management support to the service, supervising systems and processes for designated areas and ensuring appropriate systems and processes are established to support robust reporting and progress of governance, risk, and safeguarding issues
  3. To manage designated financial resources within budget and support the quadrumvirate and wider divisional governance team in financial management
  4. To support the development of service line reporting and service line management

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent qualifications or experience
  • Management qualification
  • Evidence of continuing professional/personal development
  • Experience of managing and designing staff rotas
  • Experience of reporting of service performance
  • The management of operating budgets and delivering financial surplus
