**Job Title:** M and E Project Lead

**Company:** Career Trails South Yorkshire

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced M and E Project Lead to join our team. This is a full-time position, responsible for running commercial and residential schemes, with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead and manage all aspects of M and E projects from conception to completion
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and expectations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Oversee the work of subcontractors and ensure quality control
  • Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to meet project goals
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders and provide updates on project status
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is being completed according to specifications
  • Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a project management role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and their installation
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and project team members
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with client-facing responsibilities and job running is preferred
