Your Responsibilities

  1. Support the operation of one of our modern Pharmacies
  2. Apply your technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication for our customers
  3. Dispense prescription medicines, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy are maintained at all times
  4. Talk to customers and offer information in a confident, friendly, and professional manner, providing our customers with a great service
  5. Offer appropriate information to customers on common ailments, symptoms, and products
  6. Take time to understand the customers' needs, explaining the benefits of the products in a way they understand and only selling products that are right for the customer
  7. Advising customers on the range of Pharmacy services available
  8. Support and deliver Pharmacy services and the dispensing process according to Standard Operating Procedures
  9. Assess the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions
  10. Deal with clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners within area of competence
  11. Respond to customer queries in relation to prescription medicines, informing the Pharmacist of any complaints
  12. Ensure all dispensary routines and Standard Operating Procedures are followed
  13. Ensure dispensary and consulting rooms are clean, tidy, and free of clutter
  14. Ensure all prescription administration is accurate and completed on time
  15. Bring promotional activities and company initiatives within the team to life
  16. Carry out all procedures accurately to protect profit and ensure we trade safely and legally
  17. Complete corporate and departmental training
  18. Keep up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy

Salary Information

The salary for this role starts from £12.44 per hour, increasing to £13.57 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. The total estimated salary for this position is around £25,500 per annum, based on 40 hours per week.
