About the RoleWe offer an exciting opportunity for a graduate with a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification to embark on a rewarding career in precision motion control engineering. As a member of our engineering team, you will be involved in the design and development of innovative photonics products, including fibre optics and piezo motors.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Working collaboratively with experienced engineers to design and improve mechanical mechanisms for precision motion control systems.
- Demonstrating knowledge of concept, design, development, and testing of theoretical designs using concurrent engineering approaches.
- Producing detailed specifications of products from data analysis gathered from testing.
- B Brainstorming, discussing, and reviewing technical challenges with team members, sub-contractors, suppliers, and manufacturing departments to find root causes and resolutions.
- Demonstrating knowledge of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) in component and assembly designs.
- Ensuring Design for Compliance is implemented in the design.
