About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Clothing Sales Assistant to join our retail team at Hasland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of shop display and cleanliness, and supporting the training and development of colleagues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement promotions and visual merchandising displays as directed.
  • Support the training and development of colleagues, including volunteers.
  • Maintain high standards of shop display and cleanliness.
  • Encourage public donations and manage daily stock tasks, including sorting, pricing, and rotating stock.
  • Supervise volunteers, including recruitment, training, and support.
  • Handle cash, complete administrative paperwork, and ensure financial procedures are followed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and report any issues, including suspected theft.

About You:

You will be an integral member of our retail team, responsible for ensuring the shop is safe, clean, and well-presented, and providing a great customer experience. To be successful in this role, you will need excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities, and knowledge of cash handling and banking protocols.
