Overview

We are seeking an experienced Geospatial Surveyor to lead our survey team in the Birmingham or Northampton region. As a Senior Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting detailed land and measured building surveys using the latest surveying equipment and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage survey projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Produce precise and comprehensive survey reports, including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and building measurements.
  • Oversee the preparation and processing of survey data using CAD and other relevant software.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored surveying solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior surveyors, providing guidance and training to enhance their technical skills and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, laser scanners, and drones.
  • Advanced knowledge of CAD and other surveying software (e.g. AutoCAD, n4ce, Pix4Dmatic).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and produce detailed reports.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • A valid clean UK driving license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
