Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Children and Young People's Community Nursing Service. As a Nurse Specialist, you will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex health needs in our residential unit and community locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care and support to children and young people with exceptional healthcare needs
  • Ensure high standards of care are delivered through training and supervision of other nurses, healthcare support workers, and education and social care staff
  • Work closely with the Nurse Team Leader to ensure all aspects of the Child's Plan are being met
  • Support and supervise more junior members of staff in the day-to-day delivery of care

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with experience of working with children and young people in a community setting
  • Previous experience of working with children and young people with exceptional healthcare needs is advantageous
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential
