We are seeking an experienced Flux Core Welder to join our team in Rosyth, Fife. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in helping to build the new 'Inspiration' class, Type 31 frigate.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out welding tasks in accordance with essential variables and conduct thorough visual inspections of finished welds to contract acceptance standards and project requirements.
- Maintain welding plant functionality and perform daily machine checks, reporting any faults immediately.
- Use digital and thermal temperature recording devices.
- Essential experience of the FCAW Flux Core Welder.
- An understanding of weld defects and causes.
- Perform setup procedures for all welding equipment and accessories to be used on projects.
- Experience with Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).
