Care Assistant Opportunity in Didsbury

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our care team as a Care Assistant in Didsbury. As a Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while developing your skills and experience.

**About the Role:**

  • Support individuals to achieve their personal outcomes
  • Provide person-centred care that promotes dignity and respect
  • Promote independence using enabling approaches
  • Deliver tailored care through individual choice and control

**What We Offer:**

  • A competitive salary of £12.30 per hour (drivers) / £11.75 per hour (walkers)
  • Mileage reimbursement: 45p per mile for drivers & 20p per mile for cyclists
  • Fully funded DBS
  • Paid induction training: 1 week classroom-based, 2 days shadowing and additional online modules
  • Holiday pay: annual leave accumulates with working hours and length of service

**Job Requirements:**

  • Previous experience as a carer for family or friends (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
