Groundworker Position

We are seeking an experienced Groundworker to carry out general groundworks, foundations and drainage works on a large site in the North West region.

This is a temporary position with a competitive hourly rate of £19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:
  • General Groundworks: The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various groundworks tasks including excavation, backfilling, and laying foundations.
  • Drainage and Ducting Works: They will also be required to lay drainage pipes and ducts for electrical cabling.
  • Safety and Efficiency: It is essential that the candidate can work safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • CSCS Card: A valid CSCS card is a requirement for this role.
  • Asbestos Awareness: Although not essential, Asbestos Awareness training would be beneficial.
  • Manual Handling: Similarly, Manual Handling training would be advantageous but not necessary.
