Job Title: Educational Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educational Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide one-to-one support for a child with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan in a mainstream classroom.

About the Role:
  • Work closely with the class teacher, Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), and outside agencies to provide tailored support to the child.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the child's language and social communication skills.
  • Support the child's learning and development in a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons that meet the child's needs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach to supporting the child.
