Job Description

HSB Technical Ltd is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join their team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of wires, cables, harnesses, and wiring looms to support the assembly of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture wires, cables, harnesses, and wiring looms using manual tools and automated machinery.
  • Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the build process.
  • Support Electrical Technicians with panel wiring of small, precise components.
  • Execute tasks as assigned in alignment with the Production Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Initiate and participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance the manufacturing process.
Requirements
  • Proficient in wire and cable manufacturing, with certification to IPC/WHMA-A-620 or equivalent.
  • Skilled in the use of crimping and cable-making hand tools.
  • Experience with a wide range of electrical connectors.
  • HNC qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
