Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Initial Assessments under Section 17 of the Children's Act 1989
• Undertake Core Assessments and Child Protection Enquiries under Section 47 of the Children's Act 1989
• Perform Pre-Birth Assessments under Section 47 of the Children's Act 1989
• Carry out Age Assessments
• Provide Section 17 support to families and children in need
• Conduct home visits for monitoring purposes/ to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children
• Collaborate with partnership agencies to support families and meet children/ young people's needs
• Prepare Initial Child Protection Conference reports
• Convene and chair Core Group Meetings
• Initiate and implement Child Protection Plans
• Pursue and complete Care Proceedings
• Apply for and obtain Emergency Protection Orders
• Prepare and present case conference reports

Requirements: To be successful, candidates must hold a recognized social work qualification and be registered with the Social Work England (SWE) register, accompanied by sufficient post-qualification experience.

Estimated Salary Range: Based on the provided information, the estimated salary for this position falls within the range of £25,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
