About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Specification Technician to join our team at Lineage Logistics. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to our sales managers and customers to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Manage and maintain product specifications, including Certificates of Analysis (CoA's), pesticides, heavy metals, and other critical parameters.
  • Review and approve supplier sites to ensure compliance with our quality standards.
  • Collaborate with our quality assurance team to ensure all products meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct site visits to customers, manufacturers, and repack facilities to ensure compliance with our quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers and customers to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our products meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a food industry technical role, preferably in product specification or quality assurance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of food safety and quality standards, including BRC and HACCP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer and supplier sites.
