Job OverviewThis is a rapidly growing and in-demand area, offering ample opportunities to add your personality, skill set, and professional experience to our projects. As a Lead Power BI Consultant, you will spend most of your time delivering solutions for key projects or working on a small portfolio of in-flight projects at different delivery stages.
Key Responsibilities- Use your consultancy expertise within the context of the 'Microsoft stack' (specifically Dynamics CE) to take the lead on projects from requirement gathering, requirements definition, solution design/architecture, and deployment perspectives.
- Manage commercial and client expectations/constraints in partnership with an assigned project manager.
- Design and develop appropriate, secure, and scalable solutions based on Microsoft and SmartImpact-defined best practices.
- Create high-quality solution design documentation (high-level design documents and/or functional specifications).
- Take the lead and, at times, 'sole role' for customization/configuration.
- Work with developer resources and take a hybrid approach for any custom development involving plugins/third-party products.
- Provide a level of Quality Assurance on every assigned project, including system/unit testing.
- Contribute to project risk/issue mitigation with the project team.
- Experience configuring Microsoft Dynamics CE and have exposure to previous versions/upgrade processes.
- Exposure to PowerApps, Flows, Canvas Apps, Power BI, and Azure.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure/DevOps in the context of project delivery.
- An ability to create and maintain high-quality functional specification documents.
- Have a proven track record of successful implementation of technological solutions.
Remote working with ad hoc office visits for team meetings and socials. You will be respected for who you are and empowered to use your voice to help others and our clients.
