About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Bohill Bungalows, a leading provider of specialist care services. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with complex behavioural needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, behaviour management, and emotional support.
  • Establish strong relationships with residents, demonstrating empathy, patience, and understanding in all interactions.
  • Collaborate with senior and nursing team members to develop and implement care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for residents.
  • Participate in learning and development programs to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
  • Engage residents in activities, promoting mental stimulation, socialization, and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques, prioritizing resident safety and well-being.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Home Manager.
