Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Specialist to join our team in Wolverhampton. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing facility's electrical systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, with experience working on heavy factory equipment. They will possess a NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent and have 3-phase electrical fault finding ability.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday, 3-shift pattern. The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary package, including overtime opportunities, pension bonus, annual pay review, and staff discounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planned and reactive maintenance of processing machinery and ancillary equipment
  • Repairs and responding to breakdowns
  • Electrical fault finding and testing

Requirements

  • Electrical maintenance engineer from a heavy factory environment (backgrounds from Manufacturing, FMCG, Construction or similar)
  • NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent
  • 3-phase electrical fault finding ability
  • Experience with ac/dc, PLCs, motors, drives, and inverters

Salary Estimate
