You will play a key role in the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects across the UK and worldwide, working on a diverse range of projects including large-scale energy and infrastructure, rail, highways, water, and mixed-use development schemes for both private and public clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading on the coordination and delivery of planning/environmental work being undertaken by multi-disciplinary teams, influencing project development and delivering optimal environmental and planning outcomes
  • Strong business development, creating project opportunities and leading delivery of projects to build our portfolio in the D&B Sector
  • Raising awareness of our services, winning new opportunities and building new contacts
  • Actively engaging in key client relationships, leading by example and creating cross-selling opportunities for the wider business
  • Engaging with consultees and stakeholders
  • Managing projects, overseeing our performance on technical, quality, commercial, and health and safety

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An excellent working knowledge of the environmental and consenting process, from EIA practices and procedures, including case law, and a solid understanding of environmental and sustainability principles and environmental technical specialisms
  • Strong experience of working with Contractors and influencing sustainability through design
  • Experience across a range of project types
  • Strong report writing, verbal and presentation skills with experience in reviewing the work of others to ensure quality
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary co-ordination and leadership of projects, with good project management and technical skills
  • Commercial expertise, including forecasting, project management, and quality assurance

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
