OCU Group is seeking an experienced Fibre Build Manager to oversee the installation and maintenance of fibre optic networks in South Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cabling and splicing activities to ensure high-quality fibre optic networks.
- Supervise and manage a team of technicians and support staff to achieve project goals.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and contract labour as required.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure contract compliance.
- Deliver toolbox talks and new company procedures to the workforce.
- Verify designs and conduct client ECI on allocated works.
- Manage stock and coordinate site materials.
- Develop and implement project plans to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with clients to agree delivery dates and provide monthly contract programme updates.
- Attend client liaison meetings and contribute to business development.
- Record works and track sheets as required.
Requirements:
- Previous FTTP experience is essential.
- Ability to manage multiple programmes of work concurrently.
- Local knowledge of networks and local authorities.
- Commercial acumen and Microsoft Suite expertise.
- Previous experience in a similar role (5 years desirable).
- NRSWA certification.
