At Infopro Digital, we're seeking a talented Credit Controller to join our team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be based at either our London or Cheshire offices and will play a crucial role in ensuring money is collected from customers according to the terms and conditions of contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure timely collection of payments from customers by chasing outstanding balances via phone, email, letters, statements, etc.
  • Issue letters to companies with overdue accounts, outlining next steps if payment is not made by deadlines.
  • Resolve customer queries regarding payments and invoices efficiently and effectively.
  • Raise necessary invoices or credit notes on customer accounts.
  • Transfer and allocate payments as required.
  • Maintain monthly cash collection targets set by the Credit Control Manager to reduce company debt and debtor days.
  • Liaise closely with other departments, including Sales, to ensure excellent customer service is maintained at all times.
  • Perform general administration tasks, such as updating customer contacts, addresses, and PO numbers.

You will report directly to the Credit Control Manager.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Credit Controller position is essential.
  • Able to manage difficult conversations while maintaining positive relationships with customers.
  • Persistence, assertiveness, and motivation are key qualities for this role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills (over the phone and in writing), and strong organisational skills are required.
  • Experience dealing with a high volume of customer accounts and ability to work to set deadlines are essential.
  • A good team player with good knowledge of Excel is preferred.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include 25 days' holiday rising to 30 days with increased service, hybrid working arrangement, and additional perks.
