Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Contact Centre Advisor to join our dynamic L&Q Energy Team. As a key member of our specialist Customer Services Team, you will provide a professional front-line service to customers supplied with heating and hot water from our communal and district heating systems.

Working to resolve calls on a first contact basis, you will assist customers with metering and billing enquiries and help to fix heating and hot water issues, managing schedules and making bookings for engineers. Our Contact Centre Advisors play a vital role in supporting our Energy Operations Managers, Heat Metering & Billing Manager, and Engineers to ensure we deliver an amazing customer experience.

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, great attention to detail, and a willingness to go the extra mile. You will be responsible for:

  1. Delivering excellent customer service in a demanding customer-facing environment.
  2. Providing effective solutions to customer queries and issues.
  3. Working collaboratively with the wider team to achieve customer satisfaction and business objectives.
  4. Developing and maintaining a thorough knowledge of our products and services, including metering and billing procedures.
  5. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service processes and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  2. Knowledge of metering and billing procedures, or a willingness to learn.
  3. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  5. Strong IT skills, with experience of using CRM software and other relevant systems.
