Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at Recruit 2 You. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of projects for our client, a global company that provides bespoke manufactured solutions to a range of industries.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a Level 4 or HNC or above - Engineering based qualification, and experience of working with multiple disciplined (electrical, mechanical) design teams. You will also have exposure to working on Large Oil and Gas/ Power projects, and a competent understanding of engineering and workshop machinery.

The role will involve strategy, planning, and management of all project functions, ensuring that bespoke projects are executed successfully. You will report to the Projects Department Manager and will be office-based, with some overseas travel required from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  2. Manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders
  3. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and other external parties to ensure project requirements are met
  4. Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and resources
  5. Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
