Senior Manufacturing Operations Director

Are you a seasoned Manufacturing Operations Director looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our manufacturing operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Lead and manage a multi-functional delivery team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Personally lead negotiations with customers, partners, and suppliers to optimize pricing efficiencies.
  • Identify opportunities for contract development to increase turnover and profitability.
  • Control the cost base and supply chain to minimize operational inefficiencies.
  • Ensure project design delivers best value for the company.
  • Determine and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide clear communication and leadership to the team, bringing out their full potential.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems.
  • Interpret drawings and data to inform business decisions.
  • Understand buying processes and commercial decision-making.
  • Conduct risk assessments and method statements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior management position within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong financial acumen, particularly in P&L/Budget Management/Forecasting.
  • Full understanding of performance management systems.
  • Ability to interpret drawings or data presented.
  • Understanding of buying processes and commercial decision-making.
  • Ability to review and conduct risk assessments and method statements.
