About the Role

The responsibilities of this Management Accountant role include:

  • Preparing divisional monthly management accounts as part of an experienced team of finance professionals.
  • Acting as a business partner and first point of contact to directors and managers of a number of divisions of the group to develop:
    • Accurate, timely, and well-presented management accounts information, in comparison with budget, forecast, and prior year
    • Rolling trading forecasts
    • Annual budgets
    • Ad-hoc financial and commercial information to support business decision-making
  • Offering independent challenges to colleagues of financial performance.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and management, including supporting the business in the control of an extensive rental fixed asset base in a capital-intensive industry.
  • Working alongside the finance team to present financial results and supporting information to stakeholders that clearly communicates key drivers for performance.
  • Running a UK payroll alongside colleagues.
  • Supporting the finance team in group treasury, cash flow forecasting, and cash management activities.

As a key member of the AFI group of companies' finance team, you will have the opportunity to gather extensive experience across the whole of finance.
