Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Radiotherapy Specialist to join our team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our radiotherapy department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiotherapy treatments to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out radiotherapy processes as prescribed, carefully and accurately, and assist in the operational management of a specialist highly complex radiotherapy work base.
- Liaise with medical, physics, nursing, clerical, and support staff within the department and throughout the institution.
- Responsible for the accurate preparation, planning, and delivery of treatment by self and by members of the immediate team.
- Assist in the training of team members in the operation of all equipment safely and efficiently.
- Meet the regulatory responsibilities defined for an operator as delegated by the Trust under the IR(ME)R regulations.
- Make evidence-based decisions within the prescribed scope of practice.
