About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Enterprise Data Engineer to join our team in designing, developing, and deploying scalable data engineering solutions using AWS native services. As part of this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining efficient data processing pipelines, ensuring reliable and secure data storage and retrieval, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy large-scale data lakes using AWS S3, Glue, and Terraform.
  • Implement data extraction, ingestion, and processing pipelines using Java and Python.
  • Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for data infrastructure using Linux environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design scalable data architectures and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Maintain and improve existing data engineering workflows using version control and CI/CD practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying data engineering solutions using AWS.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, and scripting languages like Bash.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS), containerization, and orchestration technologies.
  • Familiarity with data streaming technologies like Kafka and Kinesis.
