About the Position

We are looking for an exceptional Autism Tutor to join our team in Northamptonshire.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education and experience working with individuals with autism.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement tailored tutoring plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  2. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages independence, confidence, and self-advocacy.
  3. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student's education.
  4. Regularly evaluate student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience working with individuals with autism, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of teaching methodologies and strategies for supporting individuals with autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to tutoring, with a focus on meeting the individual needs of each learner.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the availability of students and their families.
Compensation and Benefits

A competitive salary range of £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional development.
