Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Development Lead to join our team at Victim Support Scotland. This role will be responsible for leading the volunteering team on a strategic approach to learning and development for both our volunteers and volunteer line managers.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in current theories and practices relating to learning and development, with a proven track record of driving forward key programs. The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of our volunteer learning and development program, advise and support colleagues and stakeholders around learning, and drive forward a review of our learning and development offer for volunteers.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to our ambitions outlined in our 5-year plan. As a Volunteer Development Lead, you will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to develop and deliver learning programs that meet the needs of our volunteers and volunteer line managers.

You will also be responsible for advising and supporting colleagues and stakeholders around learning, including the delivery of our volunteering strategy, the recruitment and induction of volunteers, and supporting the onboarding and offboarding of volunteers.

What You Will Need:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of learning and development principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

Salary: £31,890 per year
