Your New Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team in Camden, London. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of your playroom, ensuring that the children are safe, happy, and engaged.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established and reputable nursery that offers a stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and promote the development of each child's unique potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging learning experiences for children
  • Ensure the nursery is a safe and healthy environment for children and staff
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a smooth transition for children
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve the nursery's vision and goals
Requirements
  • A Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a nursery setting and leading a team
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • A commitment to continuous professional development
