Operational Technology Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operational Technology Specialist to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a key member of our Global IT organization, you will play a critical role in driving improvements in the digitization and security of our manufacturing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Solution Architecture: Develop innovative solution architectures to satisfy our manufacturing digitization and automation requirements, ensuring a secure and efficient operational environment.
- Operational Technology Oversight: Oversee the delivery and support of core operational technologies and standards, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of our OT systems.
- Standards and Procedures: Support the delivery of standards, methods, and procedures for the design, modification, and maintenance of our manufacturing OT systems, with a keen focus on security considerations.
- Equipment Classification: Identify and deploy processes to inventory and classify industrial equipment, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of our OT assets.
- System Resilience: Identify and deploy processes to manage industrial control system resilience, ensuring our systems are robust and can withstand potential threats.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Partner with IT and manufacturing teams to ensure the protection of Industrial Control Systems and networked devices, fostering a secure and efficient environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in OT systems and cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of OT systems, industrial data collection, ICS and SCADA security considerations, and risk management.
- Competencies: Ability to analyze complex security issues and provide pragmatic solutions, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
