Job Title: Technical Director
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director to lead our maintenance operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wants to take on a challenging role with great responsibilities.
This is a key position within our company that will oversee the technical aspects of our manufacturing plant. As a Technical Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Your main goal will be to maintain high levels of plant reliability and productivity while minimising downtime and costs.
You will work closely with senior engineering members and other teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing and implementing new technologies and machinery to improve our operations.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including a 10% bonus scheme, 33 days' holiday, and 9% pension.
">Key Responsibilities:- To ensure the safe and compliant fulfilment of all maintenance and operational activities in line with company policies, procedures and expectations.
- To monitor and report on plant performance, proposing actions to be taken to address any constraints and improve performance.
- To manage and plan effective planned maintenance schedules and resources required to maintain high availability.
- To support the development of new technology/machinery by ideas or project implementation.
Salary: £50,000
Location: Manchester
">Required Skills and Qualifications:- Proven experience in a maintenance management, supervisor or team leader role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Must have a minimum NVQ Level 3 either Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent.
