Neurophysiology Laboratory Technologist

The Boston Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated Registered EEG Technologist to join its Neurophysiology Lab team.

This role involves providing care in the lab for stable patients and at the patient's bedside for critically ill patients. The successful candidate will perform standard and complex neurophysiological recordings on patient populations ranging from neonatal to adulthood and geriatrics.

Responsibilities:

• Testing, documentation, and interpretation of EEG requirements according to lab protocols and those established by ASET
• Performing routine EEGs
• Continuous video EEG monitoring at the bedside
• Ambulatory EEGs
• Set-up, troubleshoot, and perform multiple technical procedures
• Multi-tasking between different applications at the same time

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an EEG technologist
• Electro Neuro Diagnostic Program preferred
• Vocational or Technical training in Electrodiagnostic Technology required
• Certification by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologist preferred
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
