The Simon Community is seeking a dedicated Tenancy Sustainment Coordinator to join our team in Northern Ireland.

About the Role

In this critical position, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals transitioning out of homelessness by managing and sustaining tenancies. Your expertise will be essential in building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, housing providers, and other key stakeholders to increase access to affordable and secure housing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to sustain tenancies and prevent homelessness
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address housing supply and demand issues
  • Provide support and guidance to tenants to ensure successful tenancy management
Requirements
  • CIH Level 4 qualification in Housing or degree in a related discipline (e.g., Housing, Property Management, Social Policy)
  • Minimum two years' experience in a housing-related role with a commitment to obtaining a CIH Level 4 qualification within an agreed timeframe
  • Demonstrated understanding of the operation and regulation of the private rented sector in Northern Ireland
