Building Control Manager

Job Summary
Service Care Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Control Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the Building Control team to ensure that buildings and structures comply with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the activities of the Building Control team, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Plan and lead the team's response to complex applications for Building Control and other permissions, negotiating and agreeing the terms of engagement.
- Make decisions on legal and technical building control and other related matters, ensuring that all decisions are consistent with organizational policies and other material considerations.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of the Building Act, Building Regulations, and ancillary legislation.
- Full Membership of RICS, CABE, or CIOB.
- Extensive experience in a relevant Building Control environment, including effective management of staff and resources.
