About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team at RSM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering offensive security services to our clients across various industries.

As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will work closely with our experienced team of specialists to deliver a wide range of assurance and advisory cyber security related engagements and projects. Your expertise will be utilized to identify and mitigate potential security threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support technical scoping activities as part of client assignments.
  • Deliver fieldwork and assignment reporting.
  • Prioritize and manage tasks through to completion.
  • Stay current with the latest cyber-attacks and technology trends.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience delivering cyber security and penetration testing.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure and web application testing, experience in API testing is desirable.
  • Proficient in Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Nessus, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Hold or working towards an industry-recognized certification including CompTIA PenTest+, CHECK, CREST, or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP).

  • Relevant experience within a cyber security role.
  • Familiar with technology trends and cyber threats.
  • Passionate about continuing your career and providing offensive cyber services to our clients.
  • Self-organized and able to manage your time effectively.
  • Confident with good written, oral communication, and report writing skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
