Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our team at Allen & York (Built and Natural Environment) Ltd. As a Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in the UK with their geo-environmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate geo-environmental site investigations, including Phase 1 and Phase 2 site investigations, across the UK.
  • Prepare and interpret geotechnical and environmental reports, ensuring compliance with current contaminated land requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their geo-environmental needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and assess site conditions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, with relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical and environmental report writing, with a strong understanding of contaminated land regulations.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD, with a basic knowledge of other relevant software.
  • A full driving license and ability to travel frequently.
