Job Title: Senior Data Analyst - Maritime Fintech

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team at MarTrust. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making in our product organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver initiatives that are critical for our customers and users.

Key Responsibilities:

* Enable data-driven product development by creating actionable insights from complex data sets through analytical methods such as cohort, funnel, and lifetime value analysis.
* Partner with product, engineering, marketing, and operational teams to ensure that data insights are integrated into all stages of product development.
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor the performance of products and related business activities.
* Evaluate the outcome of completed projects and ensure that the product data used across the organization is accurate and consistent.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in data analytics roles, preferably in fintech or a high-growth industry.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights and strategies to diverse audiences.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively with product, engineering, marketing, and operations teams, ensuring data insights are integrated across all business functions.
* Strong technical ability including SQL, Python, and R, and a proven ability to quickly learn new languages and concepts.
* Strong statistical and numerical literacy, including statistical and financial concepts.
* Experience in creating robust processes around data and reports, ensuring that the information the company relies on is up-to-date and accurate.
