Senior Payroll Specialist

TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency in Kent, is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their growing firm of chartered accountants based in the Ashford area. The company provides a comprehensive accounting service to clients across various sectors, including manufacturing, professional services, marketing, sales, healthcare, and start-ups.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have bureau or accountancy practice payroll experience, with CIPP qualification or equivalent. Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely payrolls, processing incoming information and transactions, producing high-quality payroll output files, and dealing with employee correspondence.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in a bureau or accountancy practice setting.
- CIPP qualification or equivalent, with knowledge of HMRC RTI and auto-enrolment pension requirements.
- Excellent technical skills, with proficiency in software used for payroll processing.
The successful candidate can expect a salary of £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience and background. A highly competitive benefits package, including parking, is also offered.
