Job Title: Security Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Security Systems Engineer to join our team at Project Start Recruitment Solutions. As a Security Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for repairing, installing, and maintaining intruder alarms, access control systems, warden call systems, communal aerials, and CCTV equipment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Service and install door entry, warden call, automatic door/gate systems, CCTV (including IP/networked), and intruder alarms.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance on the above systems.
  • Ensure all access control and CCTV work, including tests, inspections, and compliance checks, adheres to current British Standards.
  • Provide daily updates to the supervisor/manager on the status of all works and inform them of any time-scale or resource issues in advance.
Requirements:
  • Experience in social housing or local authority maintenance.
  • Hold a valid CSCS card.
  • Preferably have experience with manufacturers such as ISM, GDX, ENTROTEC, SML, PAC, KMS, RECORD, GEZE, GALAXY, and TEXECOM (training will be provided).
  • Possess strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Be self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
