Fostering Social Work Professional

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our team as a supervising social worker, supporting and supervising foster carers in Nottingham.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a difference in the lives of children and young people in foster care.
The successful candidate will possess a good working knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in relation to fostering and safeguarding.
About You
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A social work qualification
- Experience in children and families social work
You will also need to hold a current HCPC registration and be willing to participate in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Supporting foster parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for all children and young people in foster care
- Maintaining regular supervision with allocated foster cares in line with NCC policies
- Ensuring each child and foster parent are fully compliant in respect of all key documentation
- Participating in Form F Assessments and attending panel when required

Salary Information
The salary for this role is £39,513 (Level one) rising to £42,708 (Level four) per annum, pro rata for part-time workers.
