About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide anaesthetic services to patients, including emergency and elective procedures
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines
  • Supervise and mentor junior anaesthetists and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration with a Licence to Practise
  • Entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Anaesthesia (or expected within 6 months of interview date)
  • Experience in anaesthetic subspecialties, including emergency and elective procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with patients, relatives, and other healthcare professionals
  • Commitment to Continuing Medical Education and professional development
