Proman Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Claims Management and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) expertise to join our client's dynamic team for a long-term construction project in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Quantity Surveying: Manage all aspects of the quantity surveying function, ensuring accurate cost management and efficient project execution.
- Claims Management: Handle the preparation, evaluation, and resolution of claims relating to the project, working closely with project managers, contractors, and legal teams to resolve disputes.
- MEP Expertise: Oversee all MEP-related aspects of the project, collaborating with design and engineering teams to ensure accurate installation and integration of MEP systems.
- Project Coordination: Liaise with the project management team, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution, attending project meetings, and providing updates on cost management.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably with large-scale projects.
- Expertise in claims management, with a strong understanding of contractual and legal aspects.
- Solid experience in MEP systems, including a thorough understanding of installation processes and cost management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB) are desirable.
