Job Description

As a Legal Case Manager at Jobbankentrepreneur, you will be responsible for handling personal injury cases from inception to settlement or trial. This is an office-based position that requires strong organizational and communication skills to manage client relations, case documentation, and court filings.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and other claims.
  2. Maintain regular contact with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and address any concerns or questions.
  3. Draft legal documents such as demand letters, pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and settlement agreements.
  4. Request, review, and organize medical records, bills, and other related documents to support injury claims.
  5. File legal documents with courts and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedures.
  6. Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support case strategy.
  7. Maintain attorneys' calendars, scheduling client meetings, depositions, hearings, and court dates.
  8. Assist with preparing settlement demands, negotiating with insurance companies, and following through on settlements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury law.
  • Familiarity with personal injury legal processes, including litigation procedures and court systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
