We are seeking a highly skilled Quarry Manager to join our team at E3 Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our quarry site, ensuring that production levels are maintained safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the quarry's production levels, ensuring that they are maintained safely and to schedule.
- Oversee the management of third-party contractors, company operatives, and road hauliers to ensure supply to internal and external customers.
- Manage the budget and costs of the quarry operations, ensuring that they are within set parameters.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and environmental systems, including water discharge best practice.
- Collect and analyze extraction and geological data to inform key targets and objectives.
- Project manage defined capex projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
- Recognized qualifications in geological or quarry management.
- Experience of being appointed under Regulation c) of the Quarry Regulations.
- EHS/HSE Level 4 (training provided to reach level 6).
- Demonstrable quarry supervisory experience.
We offer a competitive salary, company car, company pension matched up to 8%, a generous holiday allowance, and 8% KPI bonus. A relocation package may also be available for the right candidate.
