Supportive Education Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work in a supportive and dynamic environment, assisting students in an alternative provision setting. You will help maintain a positive and structured learning atmosphere and will be instrumental in managing classroom behaviour and encouraging student engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Support students in their learning and development.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing the classroom.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students as needed.
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual who possesses strong behaviour management skills and a flexible approach to work. Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable but not essential. A genuine passion for education and supporting young people is crucial for this role.
Salary and BenefitsThe hourly rate for this position is £12.90 per hour, which includes 12.07% statutory holiday pay. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. We offer all our registered candidates free child protection and prevent duty training. Additionally, we undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'.
