Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Examination Support Assistant to join our team at the University of Brighton Academies Trust. As an Examination Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our secondary public and internal examinations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup of exam rooms, ensuring all necessary materials are available
  • Patrol exam rooms during exams, monitoring students' behavior and maintaining a calm and focused environment
  • Collect exam papers at the end of exams, ensuring they are securely stored and accounted for
  • Ensure compliance with statutory policies related to the role, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and apply detailed written instructions, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Capacity to concentrate and work quickly under pressure, remaining calm and composed in fast-paced environments
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Initiative to respond to unexpected situations, thinking critically and making sound judgments
