Speech Therapist Specialist - Exeter

This is an exciting opportunity to join RGH-Global Ltd, a busy service providing invaluable assessments to families and adults in the UK.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive specialist assessments for individuals with suspected autism and/or ADHD using established diagnostic tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected autism and/or ADHD using established diagnostic tools.
  • Assessments of mental health conditions may also be required.
  • Writing up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner.
  • Providing appropriate recommendations and interventions.
  • Supervising and supporting junior staff members depending on experience.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Experience in conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental/specialist developmental assessments with children and young people
  • Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and appropriate assessment tools for autism and ADHD
  • Differential diagnosis knowledge
  • Ideal ADOS-2/ADI-R trained
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in report writing and record keeping
  • Addtional qualifications in relevant areas of autism and/or ADHD
Salary and Benefits:

£35,000 - £85,000 per annum (depending on experience), including a competitive salary package, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
